Very close to every thing .. however it is very quiet in Luxor now and not many turist around ...
Every day the lights were out in the main reseption area ,becuse of this when you walked in ,you could not see if the frloo was wet or not .. they kept the place clean and staff not over friendly or pushy ..all in all a good place to stay ..
The swimming pool as we have a nice view to the valley of the Kings.
So called breakfast, that was not representative!!
New Pola Hotel is a christian owned three star hotel with an excellent location for any kind of activities in Luxor. Shops, restaurants, bars and Luxor Temple can easily be reached in minutes. From the calm pool area on the roof you have a brilliant view of the Nile and the mountains of the West Bank. The staff is the best you can wish. They are helpful, smiling and always trying to do the best to comfort you. Thanks to them.
I wish the roof could be served more often.
The hotel was very cheap and clean. The people working there were very friendly.
To get into the internet you need your own laptop otherwise you have to pay 20 pound an hour.
The staffing was very courteous and kind throughout the stay. They were always quick with any requests.
Location, cost-quality ratio and staff
we enjoyed spending 3 nights in this hotel and definitely can be recommended to others.
This hotel caters for group travellers, as an individual we felt we were treated as an inconvenience, not a guest. The hotel is a long way from Luxor and there were better hotels to choose from at the same price range. Breakfast was provided as if it was the first day the hotel had ever done it, I have never seen such disorganisation and lack of interest from the staff.
Great value for money, good breakfast buffet, helpfull and nice stuff at reception
Expensive Wifi, some rude stuff members at the restaurant
its ok hotel. good price, i payed 30 $, its ok but not a 4 star, may be 2 stars. breakfast s very very simple.
Clean,friendly,quiet.Comfy rooms.Breakfast buffet adequate.Location ok.
Hotel rather overstaffed with Reception Desk crammed with people all talking to you at same time.Over attentive staff.View of Nile only on the highest floors otherwise blocked by trees.Checking out rather laborious involving visit to manager's office and using an old pin device involving a wait for an international call to accept card payment.
The hotel helped make arrangements with local tours. The breakfast had a lot of variety.
The staff was very friendly and yes they did help make arrangements with local tours, but I would only recommend the hot air balloon ride. The whole city is full of constant hassle from vendors and I felt the hotel attendant was like this a little also with the trip arrangements. I would have preferred advice how to get to Karnac Temple and tour it on our own rather than sold a package, but I got the sense that they were probably receiving commissions.
The rooms and the hotel were kept clean. The staff were very friendly. Good value for money.
The room service and restaurant reminded me of Fawlty Towers - it took an hour to get 2 sandwiches (and the order was still wrong!).
Very nice staff
Very noisy room, even after I switched to a "garden view" room; plus, the toilet leaked all night. Barely slept.
Location was excelent ...
Breakfast time , most people had to ask for cups ,bowls ect ..then they only brought enough for one person ...every day i had to ask for somthing ...but it did not spoil my stay there ...
